Lakeside Baptist Church

Lakeside Baptist Church
Pastor Tad Marshall
Clearwater, SC
Wednesday night, June 1st

On Wednesday afternoon we arrived at Lakeside Baptist Church in Clearwater, South Carolina. This is the first church in South Carolina we have been in all summer. Pastor Marshall was unable to be in the service due to his wife's emergency surgery. We would ask you to please pray for Mrs. Marshall.
When we arrived at the church, it was such a warm welcome. We were happy to see that a missionary family was there to update the church on their ministry in Argentina. The service went very well. We were able to sing, show the video, and Brother Kyle talked about the college. Crown College has never visited this church before. They now want us to come every year. The people were very excited about what the Lord is doing at our school. The missionary Mr. Freeman, after showing his presentation, preached a Bible message on missions.

Afterwards we went out to eat to Ruby Tuesday's. We had a great time of fellowship with Bro. & Mrs. George, the Freeman's, and Mr. and Mrs. Crow. Mr. and Mrs. Crow are the parents of Mrs. Amy Sikorski. We had a lot of fun getting to know them.
We would like to thank Pastor and Mrs. Marshall for allowing us to come and sing, and share about what God is doing at Crown College. We are praying that God will continue to bless Lakeside Baptist Church.

Woo hoo! So glad ya'll had a good time. I know ya'll were a blessing to them. Mrs. Marshall's surgery went well. It was NOT cancer, but was an extensive surgery with quite a long recovery time expected. Please continue to pray for her and her family. Thank you all for going to Lakeside Baptist Church! My parents had a great time w/you all after church.
