We were very excited to arrive in Cape Coral, FL. We are always happy to see Pastor Tom Sexton, Pastor Tim Hawkins and the people of Gulf Coast Baptist Church. It was very exciting to see Bro. Pauley. We also had the opportunity to see many churches that we have visited in the last three weeks in Florida.

The other speaker was Pastor Tom Odom. The Lord really used both Bro. Pauley and Bro. Odom to challenge the teenagers hearts. They preached on not waiting until they are older to serve the Lord. There were many decisions made to stand up for the Lord and to get serious about walking with the Lord.

It was the perfect ending to a wonderful summer. The Lord has granted us safety and just really blessed us this summer. We have seen many saved, many make decisions for the Lord, and many hearts changed. We have met so many wonderful pastors, pastor's wives, and church congregations. Thank you to all those who have prayed for us this summer.

We are so grateful for the opportunity that we have been given to travel for our college this summer. We are excited about what the Lord is going to do at Crown College this semester.

The Lord gave us the great opportunity to be apart of the mid-week service of Gospel Baptist Church. We had not originally planned to be there but are so excited that we were. We were greeted by Pastor Lytell and friendly church members. Gospel Baptist Church has a great, encouraging spirit about them.

We sang several songs in the service and Bro. Kyle preached a Bible message. Bro. Kyle was presented with a t-shirt from Pastor Lytell. He is part of a group called "Gospel Riders". The Lord worked in the service and are again so thankful that we have seen His hand over us this summer.

Thank you so much to Gospel Baptist Church for your generosity and welcome. We had a wonderful time of fellowship with you all. Please pray for Gospel Baptist Church as they are beginning a new school year in just a few days.

Tuesday we drove a very short distance to Winkler Road Baptist Church where the associate pastor met us and took us out for dinner. We were able to meet his parents, daughter, and son -in-law. Thank you very much for the wonderful meal.

Winkler Road has been having Tuesday evening service all summer so that they would have the opportunity to hear different preachers. Bro. Kyle was given the opportunity to preach. We were able to sing four songs. We had a wonderful time of fellowship with the people of Winkler Road. It was such a blessing.

We were very excited to see several of our friends from Emmanuel Baptist Church just down the road. We are excited to see the growth of Winkler Road Baptist Church. Please pray for the church as they are about to start a new building project to accommodate their congregation. It is very exciting to see the work of the Lord.

Monday evening we drove from Palm Harbor, FL to Port Charlotte to be a part of a special family meeting put on by Tri-City Baptist Church. As soon as we arrived we were given a delicious meal and quickly prepared for the service.

We were given the opportunity to sing several songs and Bro. Kyle was able to present the college. We were very blessed to hear Dr. Paul Kingsbury from Rockford, IL. He is the pastor of North Love Baptist Church. The Lord really used his message on Provocation. It was exciting to see all of the families that participated in this meeting.

On Monday we drove to Palm Harbor, FL for a preachers fellowship. They were very gracious to us and we felt very welcome. At this fellowship we met many missionaries doing various works for the Lord.

We were the only "special music" for the meeting so we were able to sing many songs, and Melissa was able to play the piano for the entire meeting. We were also able to show our video among the other nineteen missionary video's and testimonies. It was nice to see Pastor Brad Noble, a Crown graduate, whom we had visited earlier on our travels.

Thank you so much to the Bible Baptist Church for hosting this fellowship and for the wonderful meal. We would also like to thank Pastor Johnson for allowing us to come to the meeting and for the support of our college. We had a wonderful time and we were encouraged by what the Lord is doing through men and women who are willing to be used.

Sunday afternoon we arrived in Ft. Myers, FL. We were very excited to see many familiar faces. This is the home church of Kristin Booher, Tricia Riley, and Casie Crawford who all attended Crown college this past school year. The pastor is also a Crown College graduate.

This was our last Sunday on the road. We sang four songs in the service, showed the video, and Bro. Kyle preached a Bible message. Emmanuel Baptist church has been a blessing to Bro. Kyle and Sarah Shearin. They were very excited to see many friends.

We had a wonderful time with the Booher family after the service. We would like to thank Emmanuel Baptist Church for the accommodations, not only for one night but for the rest of the week. We had a wonderful time at Seagate Baptist Church. Sunday morning we sang in Sunday school and showed the video. Once we were split up Bro. Kyle preached to the teen class. He preached on being spiritually mature. The Lord really used it.

Thursday evening we had the privilege of being with Pastor and Mrs. Hobbs and the members of Victory Baptist Church. Pastor Hobbs is a former student of Crown and the Lord has led him and his family into church planting. Victory Baptist Church was started about a year and a half ago by the Hobbs family. Pastor Hobbs is from Gulf Coast Baptist Church in Cape Coral, FL.

Pastor Hobbs has been holding special meetings on Thursday evenings for his church this summer. It was a great blessing to be a part of a new work. The Lord is blessing this church. They are now in a store front and are just about full. On Thursday evening we had the opportunity to sing four songs. Alissa and Shana were able to give their testimonies and Bro. Kyle preached a Bible message.

The Lord is working in a great way. Pray for the Hobbs family as God uses them in the ministry. We would like to say thank you to the Hobbs and the Devoe's for their hospitality. The food was great and we really enjoyed the fellowship.

Wednesday afternoon we made our way to Pembroke Pines, Fl, where we met Pastor Henshaw. Pastor Henshaw is a graduate of Heartland Baptist Bible College. This was the first time Crown College has ever been to their church. We were greeted warmly, and many were interested in the school. Pastor Henshaw preached a great Bible message, and we were greatly encouraged by the work that is going on there.

Bible Baptist Church just recently finished their VBS program, and they saw many souls saved. After the service, we were able to see three young people baptized. Please pray that they will see many more people reached in their neighborhood.

We would like to thank Pastor Henshaw and his family for allowing us to come to their church and present our school to the congregation. We would also like to thank the pastor's assistant Dennis Rein for taking us out to dinner. Also a thank you to the Ooten's who opened up their beautiful home to us. As always, we are thankful for the work the Lord has done, and looking forward to seeing what the Lord will do in the next church.

Monday through Wednesday we had the privledge at being at Circle C Youth Ranch. This is a ministry of the First Baptist Church of Westwood Lakes. We had the opportunity of being in the chapel services each morning with different age groups. We were able to sing,and Brother Kyle was able to preach many Bible messages. The Lord really blessed in each service, and we were able to see many kids accept Christ as their Saviour, and many recieved assurance of their salvation.

We also ran into some Crown graduates that are working in the Christian school at this church, Iris Ramon, and Mandy Vincent who just recently moved there.

We would like to thank Pastor Garcia and his wife for showing us around, and taking care of us while we were there. We are praying for the Lord to bless the remainder of the camp and continue to speak to many of the kids hearts.

Sunday afternoon we drove a short distance to First Baptist Church of Westwood Lakes. We found out when we arrived that the pastor was away preaching in South Carolina and would then meet the teens at The Wilds in North Carolina. We were surprised when we found out that Mandi Vincent was now on staff at the Christian school. It was a very nice surprise to see her.

Sunday evening was youth night. The youth group was getting ready to leave for The Wilds. It was great to see their participation in the service and to hear their youth director. The church was encouraged to pray for these teens to truly be changed while they were at camp.

We sang several songs and Bro. Kyle presented the college. We were taken out by the coordinator of the Christian school after the service. Thank you to the Oksanen's for their hospitaltiy and also to those who prepared our apartments on the camp property. We are looking forward to seeing the camp!

After visiting with Bro. Kyle's family in Okeechobee FL, we went to Cooper City, FL. Cooper City is located between Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. It is highly populated. We were very excited to meet Pastor Tom Odom. We were sad to hear that his wife was not with him because her grandfather is sick in West Virginia. Pastor Odom also told us about his sister Jacky who is critically ill right now in Naples, FL. Our prayers are with the Odom family as they are going through this trial.

We were very surprised at the property of the church. They own 35 acres in the middle of the city. It is exciting to see this church growing and serving the Lord.

We had a combined Sunday school class where Bro. Kyle was able to share a Bible message. Melissa was given the opportunity to play for the entire church service. We showed the College video and we were able to sing several songs for the service. Thank you Pastor Odom for your generosity and providing our meals and a place to stay.

We arrived in Jupiter on Tuesday afternoon. That night Bro. Charlie and Brittany Hatcher took us out for dinner. We had a wonderful time of fellowship sharing stories of our times at Crown College. Mr. and Mrs. Hatcher are both graduates.

Wednesday before the service we were able to go out with Pastor Blalock, Andy Blalock, and the Hatchers. Bro. Hatcher then brought us to the new property that Beacon Baptist is now building on. They are hoping to be there by the end of the year. It was very exciting to see!

At the Wednesday evening service we were met by many Crown graduates and current Crown students. We had also made friends with a young man named Stephon Gryskiewicz when we were in North Carolina and we were very excited to see him again. Melissa played the offertory and we were able to sing many songs. Bro. Kyle preached a Bible message and we enjoyed the fellowship with the church members afterwards. The Lord is doing a great work here and it was so encouraging to see. May the Lord bless Beacon Baptist Church.

Sunday morning were given the opportunity to a part of the Teen Sunday school class at Tabernacle Baptist Church. We were able to play the Crown College video and were very impressed with the teens and their attention. Bro. Kyle preached a Bible message and many teens responded. Melissa was able to lead a young lady to the Lord.

We sang in the service and Melissa played the offertory. Everyone is very excited and anxious as Kelly Ware will be marrying Markus Secrist on Friday. There were many tears this weekend as it is Kelly's last Sunday at the church. They will be moving back to Powell, TN. We were surprised to meet our very own Michael Crouch's family while we were at Tabernacle Baptist Church.

On Friday we were asked to be a part of the Super Seniors ministry of Tabernacle Baptist Church. We were very excited to have the opportunity to sing for the seniors. They were forty to fifty seniors that attended. We sang for them and Bro. Kyle preached a Bible message. He encouraged the seniors that they were needed in the Lord's work, and that it was possible to accomplish more in the second half of your life than the first. We had such a wonderful time speaking with the seniors and listening to them. It was a blessing!

Wednesday morning we headed to the Sunshine state of Florida, where we were greeted by rain. Gainesville Baptist Church is the only Baptist church in Gainesville that has their own church building. It is pastored by Brad Noble, he and his wife Lena are both graduates of Crown.

That night we sang in the service, and showed the college video. Brother Kyle was also able to preach a Bible message. After the service, we were able to talk with many members of the congregation, and with a recent high school graduate.

We would like to thank Pastor and Mrs. Noble for allowing us to stay with them, and for the great meals Mrs. Noble made for us. We had a great time with the Noble family. Please pray for their three kids: Jacob, Lydia, and Lily, as they were sick while we were there.

Last night we had such a great time meeting Pastor and Mrs. Jones. They are the parents of Hannah Jones, a student at Crown College, and Ben Jones, graduate of Crown College. Hannah Jones is currently traveling with the New Testament Church Pioneers. We were given an incredible dinner when we arrived. The church is beautiful. It is located in the middle of a golf course.

Today we enjoyed a delightful breakfast before canvasing the city getting the word out about Bible Time. That evening we enjoyed watching the children file in, puppets, and a sword fight! The sword fight of course involved our very own Amber LeCroy. She has alot of talent in that department!

The teen speaker for the week is Joshua Adams. He preached a great message on "Choices". It was so good to hear and challenging to us. Two of us were able to lead teenage girls to Christ Please pray for Martha and Courtney as they grow in Christ. Joshua Adams and his family will be going to the Philippines as missionaries. Please pray for them as they continue on their deputation and that God would continue to bless this family.

We were delighted to see Marla Foster who came to visit us. Again, Thank you to the LeCroys for having us and all that you did for us!

On Sunday afternoon we drove only a short distance until we arrived at New Life Baptist Church. Pastor LeCroy is a friend of our Pastor and has preached in Crown College Chapel this past semester. He is also the grandfather of Amber and Natalie LeCroy, both students at Crown College.

We had a great service! We were given the opportunity to sing many songs. Shana gave her testimony, and we showed the promotional video. Brother Kyle preached a great message on "Crowns." The specific crown he preached on was the crown of rejoicing. He spoke about how we need to be a personal one on one witness for Christ, and speak boldly of Him when God gives us those divine appointments.

Afterwards Mrs. LeCroy cooked us a wonderful meal, and we were able to fellowship with the family for awhile. We would like to thank Pastor and Mrs. LeCroy for allowing us to come and minister to their church in song. We would also like to thank Park Avenue Baptist Church for their great accommodations. We are looking forward to Vacation Bible School tomorrow! The theme is "Living like a kings kid." Pray for the Lord to speak to the children's hearts.

After a great week at Youth Congress we arrived in Birmingham, Alabama on Saturday afternoon. That night we were able to stay with the Lollar's who are the parents of Katie, Kellie, and Ben Lollar. Katie and Kellie are both graduates of Crown College, and Ben will be a senior this fall. They also have an older brother named Bo and since Katie, Kellie, and Ben weren't there, Bo kept us quite entertained.

On Sunday morning we arrived at the Glen Iris Baptist Church which is Pastored by Dr. Chris Lamb. His children Lia Lamb Dickey, and Legrand Lamb are both graduates of Crown College. The service was live streamed on the internet, and aired on a local television station in the area. We were able to sing in Sunday School and the main worship service. We were also able to show the video to the teen Sunday School class. Pastor Lamb preached a Bible message on the fifth commandment, "Honor thy father and thy mother."

We would like to thank Dr. and Mrs. Lamb for allowing us to come to their church. We would also like to thank the Lollar's for their wonderful hospitality to us. Thank you Mrs. Lollar for the wonderful home cooked meals!

Sunday night we were able to take part in the service of Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church. Pastor Gene Lasley is a man that God has mightily used. We were so excited to spend time with him and his dear wife. She is a very godly lady.

Buffalo Ridge is the home church of many former and current Crown College students. Deven Smith, Levi Mullens, and Brittany Bare (Pictured below) are a few.

Brother Kyle was excited to spend some time with Jody Jenkins (Co-pastor) after the service.

We were able to spend July fourth with Shana's family. We had a wonderful time with her family and pastor. Chilhowie Baptist is a wonderful church and we were privileged to be apart of the service. This church has been having two morning services for two years now. They are unable to fit everyone in one service. This is the home church of Matt Herrell & Cody Sturgill former Crown graduates.

We were able to sing in the 8:30 service, 11:00 service, Teen Sunday School, and Children's meeting. The teenagers enjoyed seeing the video in Sunday School and Caleb Martinez is very excited about coming this fall as a freshman.

Thursday we made our way to Greer Baptist Camp Meeting in Greer, SC. This is the oldest Baptist Camp meeting in America. It used to be moderated by Billy Kelly. He was a preacher that has gone to be with the Lord. He used to sing a song that many associate with him today, the song is "Like the Prodigal Son". We are grateful this camp meeting is continuing to go on for God's glory.

Pastor Sexton was the Camp speaker for the night. It was a pleasure to see him again. Anytime we can spend with our pastor we count it a great privilege. It was also nice to see Bro. Greg Gray who accompanied our pastor. Pastor Sexton spoke with great boldness and the Lord used him. He spoke out of Lamentations on " Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by?". Many responded and we are grateful that God is using our Pastor.

We were delighted to see Margret Stringer who was just at our last missions conference.

On Wednesday afternoon we arrived at Lakeside Baptist Church in Clearwater, South Carolina. This is the first church in South Carolina we have been in all summer. Pastor Marshall was unable to be in the service due to his wife's emergency surgery. We would ask you to please pray for Mrs. Marshall.

When we arrived at the church, it was such a warm welcome. We were happy to see that a missionary family was there to update the church on their ministry in Argentina. The service went very well. We were able to sing, show the video, and Brother Kyle talked about the college. Crown College has never visited this church before. They now want us to come every year. The people were very excited about what the Lord is doing at our school. The missionary Mr. Freeman, after showing his presentation, preached a Bible message on missions.

Afterwards we went out to eat to Ruby Tuesday's. We had a great time of fellowship with Bro. & Mrs. George, the Freeman's, and Mr. and Mrs. Crow. Mr. and Mrs. Crow are the parents of Mrs. Amy Sikorski. We had a lot of fun getting to know them.

We would like to thank Pastor and Mrs. Marshall for allowing us to come and sing, and share about what God is doing at Crown College. We are praying that God will continue to bless Lakeside Baptist Church.

We had the great privilege to be at Bethel Baptist Church's youth camp on Monday night. We arrived just in time for the service, and sang several songs. Brother David McCracken preached a great message that night about "Strengthening the Inner Man" from Ephesians 3. During our days at the camp, we were able to stay in the cabin with the girl campers, and had a great time getting to know them. It was great to see Amanda Howard, a current Crown College student. We were also able to meet her sister, Brittany, who will be attending Crown next Fall. Another teen from their church will be attending Crown in the Fall too, his name is Nathan.

Tuesday morning we were able to make it to the "Words of Wisdom" session. This was a time for the campers to turn in questions they had about Spiritual matters, and have them answered by Pastor Cooper and Brother McCracken. This was a great time for the campers to have their questions answered, and to hear their feedback on certain matters. After that they went to a group activity. For the morning service, we were able to sing again, and take part in the games and activities. We were also able to sing for the evening service.

Wednesday morning was our last time to be with the campers. After the morning service, we ate lunch with the campers, and had to head out to our next church. This was so hard to do, after being able to spend so much time with the girls. We were also able to spend time with some of the boys. Justin is a twelve year old boy, who greatly desires to be a preacher. He has such a heart for the Lord, and we were able to hear him preach for us before we left. We are praying that he stays on fire for the Lord.

Sunday afternoon we drove to southern Kentucky to be a part of Maranatha Baptist Church's evening service. This is the home church of Jordan Begley, a Crown graduate who will be coming in the fall for his Master's Degree and Brooke Shoemaker who is a current Crown College student.

We had the opportunity to minister with song and testimonies. We had a wonderful time of fellowship after the service with the congregation. Thank you so much to the congregation for the wonderful food. We would also like to thank Pastor Keene for the accommodations. We had a wonderful time speaking with the pastor, his family and the Begley's after the service. We really enjoyed our time with Maranatha Baptist Church.

Sunday morning we had the privilege of being with Pastor Brent Coley, his family, and the members of Calvary Baptist church. God touched our hearts with the message Pastor Coley brought to us on "Dead Men All Around Us." God is blessing them and we pray He continually blesses them.

On Friday we arrived at Bible Baptist Church in Radcliff Kentucky. This week at Bible Baptist Church they were hosting their Fort Knox Bible Conference. We were very excited about hearing Pastor Sexton preaching in this service.

Pastor Sexton preached a Bible message from I Samuel 31, "All the Valiant Men Arose." If we have a desire to do something great for God, it is time to arise and do it.

It was also good to see Brother Bill Giallourakis at the service as well. There were a lot of Crown Alumni in this service. Afterwards, we had a special Crown reception. It was good to visit and talk with current and graduated students from Crown College.

Afterwards, we were able to go out to eat with Pastor Sexton, Brother Giallourakis, and Pastor Green. We had a wonderful time of fellowship! We would like to thank Pastor Green and his wife for allowing us the opportunity to sing in the conference. May God truly Bless Bible Baptist Church.

Thursday we made our way towards Radcliff, KY. We stopped for the night in Powell, TN. We were able to make it for the services at Mt. Moriah Christian Camp. This week was a junior camp week and the speaker was Stephen Troell. He spoke on surrendering your life to God. We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to be back for Youth Congress!

Wednesday night we were in Beacon Baptist Church. When we arrived, the pastor and his family greeted us, and we were served a wonderful dinner by the church members. After we finished dinner, we headed out to do some door knocking. We also helped hand out church flyers for their Neighborhood Bible Time that was going on that week.

This week was a busy time for Beacon Baptist. Several of their teenagers, and adults, were gone on a church trip, and Neighborhood Bible Time was also going on at the same time. During the service, we were able to sing several songs, and Brother Kyle preached a great Bible message. It was great to see Donnie and Rachael Johnson, who both traveled last year in singing groups for Crown College.

We would like to say thank you to all the kitchen staff that prepared dinner for us. Also a big thank you to the Rabon family for their kindness, and for taking us out to Goodberry's. This was a first experience for most of us, and we enjoyed it so much.

On Tuesday night, we had a special service at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle in Louisburg NC. This is the home of Calvary Baptist School where Bro. Kyle graduated from. We were able to meet a lot of new people in Brother Kyle's family. There were 24 visitors that attended the meeting. Many of them were lost, it was very exciting to see the Lord work in the service. He is truly working in their hearts. This was a big encouragement for Pastor Tondee and Calvary Baptist Tabernacle, they were very excited to see everyone.

We sang at the beginning of the meeting, and Tawnya was able to give her salvation testimony. Brother Kyle preached a Bible message on salvation. Afterwards, Brother Kyle's uncle and aunt took us out for ice cream. We had great time getting to know his family, and being around them. We would like to thank Pastor Mark Tondee and his wife for their warm welcome, delicious dinner, and allowing us to come and sing at their church.

Since we have been in Louisburg, NC we have had the opportunity to sing in a variety of places. We were able to go in many homes of the elderly of Kyle's home church, Grace Baptist Church in Louisburg.

While we were singing for Mrs. Radford at the Assisted Living Home in Louisburg, the activities director asked us to come back for a staff birthday celebration. We gladly accepted the invitation and came back later that afternoon. We were able to sing three songs and Shana was able to give her testimony to all the staff that were present. We are thankful that the Lord has given us these opportunities.

Sunday night we had the privledge of being in Brother Kyle's home church, Grace Baptist Church in Louisburg, North Carolina. We had a great service, and the Lord truly blessed. Brother Kyle was unable to speak in the service but he was able to attend this one. His leg and foot are still swollen but he is going to the doctor tomorrow.

We sang and Pastor Bailey preached a Bible message on Luke 12 about common misconceptions about the Lord. We are to love God before anything else!

At the end of the service we were able to see a little girl baptized. It was an encouragement and blessing! It was fun getting to know some of Brother Kyle's church family as well.

This morning we were able to go to Durham, NC, to sing in Fellowship Baptist Church. Brother Kyle was unable to attend the morning service because he was stung Saturday and had a sever allergic reaction to the sting. He was unable to walk Sunday morning so we went to this church with Mrs. Sarah.Pray that the Lord will heal Brother Kyle.

We had the opportunity to sing in the teen Sunday school class, and we had a great time talking to the teenagers. It was very good to see Kelly Slaughter, who is a current student of Crown College.

After Sunday school, we were able to sing for the main service. Since it is Father's Day, they acknowledged all the fathers, by having them stand. Pastor Finley is preaching a series on "How to Recover All" and his service this morning was geared mainly toward the men. He encouraged men to stand up for their family, their church, and what they believe. We can all learn from this, as we need more people to take a stand for the Lord.

We would like to thank Pastor Finley for allowing us to be in his church, and to Brent and Cassie Lewis for taking us out to lunch.

The last two days of the Gospel Light youth conference were great. Brother Kenny Baldwin and Pastor Greg Locke closed the meeting with many Bible messages. Brother Baldwin is looking forward to preaching at the Youth Congress in Powell, TN pastored by our Pastor Clarence Sexton. He is preaching the last night Friday, July 10th.

During the meeting we saw many teenagers trust Christ as their Savior. Two young men also surrendered to preach during this week. Every one in our group had the opportunity to lead a teenager to the Lord. What a privilege!!

We have had such a wonderful time the first three days of the Gospel Light Youth Conference. There are between 600 and 800 teenagers in attendance this week. We have met several incoming students and many more who are praying for God's Will about college.

We hear preaching all day from the conference preachers and the Lord is using them. The teenagers here are also enjoying activities at the water park, Carowinds, and many other events. The staff and faculty have been so kind to us and may the Lord bless them for it.

We would like you to meet an incoming freshman named Pete. He lives with Brother Kenny Baldwin and he is coming to Crown as a Freshman this fall.

There are many college singing groups at this meeting for the week and we are delighted to play some platform games with them.

This was a very special night for our group. Brother Kyle was called to preach at the age of 16 under the ministry of Pastor Dan Walser in Louisburg, NC. While Brother Kyle was at college the Lord led Pastor Walser to this church in Welcome, NC. He is now the assistant pastor.

We were able to talk to two ladies who were nearing the end of their high school education about college. Their families were very interested in the college and had lots of questions for us. Crown College has never visited this church before. We had a great welcoming. Pastor Varnadore was very kind to us. He was excited to have the group in.

Brother Kyle preached the service that night. The Lord gave liberty and many responded at the invitation. The Lord is blessing our group this summer and we give Him the glory for it. Sometimes the Lord chooses to just pour out a special blessing on a service and we experienced it this night.

Saturday morning we traveled to Monroe, NC. When we got there Megan Martin and the Martin family met us to take us out to dinner. Jason and Mackenzie Martin are both graduates of Crown College, along with Jason's sister, Megan. After being able to spend some time with them, they took us to their campground. Dry Fork Christian Camp is a growing camp, and the church just finished their first week of junior camp. This week of camp was a very exciting time for the church, and they had a great turnout. The camp includes a obstacle course, lake, zip line, and paddle boats among other activities. We were able to ride on the paddle boats for a while, which was for some of us, a new experience.

Sunday morning we were in Shining Light Baptist Church. We were able to sing in Sunday school, and Brother Kyle was able to preach for Sunday school. During the main service, the girls were able to sing, and Melissa was able to play for the offering. Pastor Cruse preached a great message from Joel. His main text was Joel 2:25-26, which talked about the Lord restoring the years to His people that they lost during a famine. This is a great promise to us as God's children. As a result of the Lord using Pastor Cruse, a man came and received assurance of his salvation, and we also saw one baptized. We had a great time with the Cruse family during the afternoon, and they were such a blessing to us.

We would like to thank the Martins for taking us out on Friday, and we would also like to thank Pastor and Mrs. Cruse for the great lunch, and homemade strawberry lemonade.

On Thursday night and Friday morning we had the opportunity to be at Mount Moriah Christian Camp. The last night of services was Thursday and Pastor McCoy preached. He is the pastor of Peoples Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA. He brought a message on standing for the Lord. At the end of the service he asked everyone to come forward who was going to stand for Christ when they returned to their home.

On Friday morning some of the staff of Mount Moriah Christian Camp gave their personal testimonies. God used those workers and we appreciate them giving their summer to serve the Lord in this camp.

On Tuesday we drove from Salem to Richmond in Virginia. We were met by James and Joy Sumpter, 2009 graduates of Crown College. It was so nice to see them. Bro. Kyle and Sarah really enjoyed their visit with them.

Tuesday evening we were given the opportunity to go out on visitation. We knocked doors and told those in the community of the Vacation Bible school that starts in two weeks. We enjoyed spending time with the whole Sumpter family. They are a joy to be around and were a blessing to us.

On Wednesday we were able to spend the day with Mrs. Sumpter and Joy, and had a great time of fellowship. That evening in the service we had the opportunity to sing during prelude, and in the service. Brother Kyle preached a message on contentment, and how our contentment can't be in anything else but Christ. At the end of the service we showed the college video. Many church members told us afterwards that they had supported the college, but had never been there. They were very happy to see what the Lord has done and is doing in the college. We would like to thank James and Joy Sumpter for allowing us to stay in the their apartment. Also we would like to thank Pastor and Mrs. Sumpter for their hospitality, and accomodations. Thank you Mrs. Sumpter for the wonderful home cooked meals! May God truly bless Landmark Baptist Church in a special way.

On Monday we had a delightful lunch with Pastor Greg Irby. We really enjoyed spending the day with the Pastor. When we finished lunch we headed over to one of Virginia's Veterians Home. This home houses 240 veterans that have served our country.

We were able to visit with many of the residents as well as sing for them. They were such precious people and we were truly blessed to be able to visit with them. Buster was a blessing and cherished taking pictures with us.

Later that evening Pastor and Mrs. Irby and their son Gregory Irby took us out for a wonderful meal. As many of you know Gregory is presently a student at Crown College. He is entering his senior year and is a pastoral major.

We would like to thank the Irbys again for their hospitality and their kindness to us. The thoughtfulness of the Pastor was very evident and we were blessed by it. Brother Kyle & Sarah really enjoyed spending time with Pastor & Mrs. Irby. They went out of their way for us and may the Lord bless them for it.

Sunday was spent in Salem, VA, located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We shared the Sunday Morning Service with Pastor Greg Irby and the Temple Baptist Church. This is the home church of Rachael Irby (Valedictorian of the 2009 Graduating class of Crown College,) and Greg Irby (Senior at Crown College).

Brother Kyle gave a challenging Sunday School lesson on "Godly Contentment" out of the fourth chapter of Philippians. In the main service Pastor Irby brought a message about "Seeking the Lord". The Lord used the message and many responded. We were able to sing for both the main Sunday School class and the Sunday Morning Service.

We have really enjoyed our time with the Irby's. The Lord is blessing this church and we were greeted with such a warm welcome. We are really looking forward to spending Monday with the Irby Family.

Today we drove from Chester, Maryland to Smithfield, VA. We had a great opportunity to be a part of a youth meeting put on by Calvary Baptist Church. It started at 4 p.m and went until 7 p.m. It was a meeting of several youth groups in the area. We had a wonderful time joining the teens in activities. The ladies had a lot of fun, but thankfully none of them were hurt this time.

This is the home church of Tommy Joe Henderson, Ben Webster, Tim Germano, and of course our own Greg Gray. Greg Gray is the son of Pastor Gray. Greg Gray is on staff at Temple Baptist Church and is being used of the Lord to help our Pastor.

We had the opportunity to show the Crown College video and sing in the service that followed the activities. Pastor Gray preached a sermon called "Reality". The Lord really used it to challenge the teenagers to be aware of more than what is on this earth but what is ahead.

The meeting was well organized by Phil Gage and his wife Michelle who are Crown Graduates. The Lord is truly using the Gages and the Grays in Smithfield, Virginia.

Friday night we were able to attend Bobby and Krystal Hogge's Wedding. Melissa was a bridesmaid and sang in the wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony, and Pastor Rediger married them. We were able to see a lot of our friends from Crown College and spent some time with them.

Wednesday morning we left very early for Maryland. Ten hours later we arrived at Eastern Shore Baptist Church in Grasonville, Maryland. This is the farthest north we will visit on our trip. Mellissa will be in a wedding on Friday so that is what brings us to Maryland. When we arrived the people of the church had a great Spirit and told us they had been praying for this night. That really meant a lot to us and it was evident in the service. We had a great service and Lord met with us.

It was really a reunion service because we were able to see a lot of students and graduates from Crown College. We sang many songs and Brother Kyle preached a great message on Mark chapter 9:28, "Why could we not?" This is when the disciples tried to cast the demon out of the young child and failed. They asked the Lord this question. Brother Kyle said it is possible to attempt great things for God and fail.

On Monday evening, Tuesday morning & Tuesday evening we were at Mount Moriah Christian Camp. This is the first week of camp for the summer and it was off to a great start. Pastor Steve Roberson was the camp preacher for this week. He is a friend of our Pastor and we appreciate his ministry. He is pastoring the Calvary Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN. The Lord used Pastor Roberson in the first two days of this camp that we were able to attend. On Tuesday night he brought a message entitled "What is your Life". Many teenagers responded that night. May the Lord continue to use this camp in the lives of these teenagers in the days remaining.

Sunday afternoon we arrived in Fletcher North Carolina at the Boiling Springs Baptist Church. It was such a blessing to see Pastor Cody Sturgill, Ruth Sturgill, and their boys Ian and Hudson.

The friendly smiles on the faces of the church members were such a blessing and encouragement to us. We were able to sing a lot of songs in the service. Shana gave her testimony and shared what an influence the Sturgill's were to her as they were the first to tell her about Crown College, and Alissa also shared her testimony. We also were able to see one of our really good friends Brad Page and his family.

After the service the Sturgill's took us out to eat, and we were able to catch up and spend some time with them. It is so good to see what the Lord is doing in the church, and using Pastor Sturgill in a great way.

It was such a blessing! We would like to thank Pastor and Mrs. Sturgill for their kindness and hospitality to us. We would also like to thank Mrs. Sturgill for the wonderful chocolate covered strawberries, and chocolate chip cookies that were awaiting us at the hotel when we arrived.! Sunday Morning, May 31st

We arrived in Hickory, North Carolina on Saturday evening. Pastor Scott Hooks and his wife met us, and showed us around their church home. Tabernacle Baptist Church is situated on beautiful grounds, and the atmosphere was one of an eagerness to continue growing. On Sunday morning, we attended the Teen Sunday school class. It was wonderful to meet the students. While in the class, we were able to sing, and Brother Kyle was able to share a message with the class. They were all very attentive to both the singing and the preaching.

The church is missing their youth director, Brother Rood, who is fighting leukemia. We ask that you would join all of us in praying for healing, but most of all that the Lord would be glorified in this entire situation.

After the Sunday school classes were over, we made our way into the main service. The church recently received a visit from Pastor Clarence Sexton. They all spoke well of our Pastor and said the Lord used him while he preached.

It was great to see David Case, who graduated this year with his Master's degree, and Hannah Sauder, who is a current student at Crown College.

We were able to sing in the main service, and Melissa played the piano for the offering. Brother Hooks preached a very touching sermon on Joseph from Genesis 37 entitled, "What Will Become of Your Dreams?". This message was to help show us that God has a purpose and plan for our lives. Although there are adversaries who will try to keep us from fulfilling these dreams, the Lord will help us fulfill these dreams, if we are within His will. At the end of the service, we had the great privilege to see one person baptized.

We thank Pastor Hooks and his family for allowing us to come to their church, and for taking us out. We would also like to thank the Deans and the Fredericks for opening their homes to us, and the Cordells for taking us out on Sunday afternoon. Pastor Hooks and his people really went out of their way to encourage us. May the Lord bless them.

Our Day Off

Today we travelled to Hickory, NC. We had a great time on the road. In South Carolina we ran into a rather large Peach. We had a great time taking pictures.

It was a little hot so we all went for ice cream and drinks at a local chain restaurant. One couple asked us to sing at their table. We did sing and then another table asked and another table. The Lord really used us. One lady from Maine starting tearing up and said she had never seen anyone sing about the Lord in public. We actually talked with people in the restaurant who had heard our Pastor preach before and they bought some CD'S. The Lord blessed us with a safe trip to Hickory, NC.

Friday evening we attended Hope Christian Academy's Graduation service. There were nine graduates in all. One (Heather Smith) of whom is coming to Crown College as a Freshman this fall. All the graduates were very excited to see what God has in store for them in the coming years. The graduation service went wonderful. It was of course very emotional for the graduate's family.

We had the privilege of singing three songs in the service. Brother Kyle also had the opportunity to preach at the graduation. He encouraged them with a message on "Apollos: a Life Long Learner."

Our Day Off

On Thursday we travelled to Winder, GA. This was our day off this week and it was very refreshing. We came to Tawnya's hometown and spent the day with her family. We had the privilege of visiting Tawnya's grandmother in the hospital. We sang several songs and the Lord used it to encourage her grandmother.

We attended Berean Baptist Church on Wednesday night and we were greatly blessed. The church is growing, and they recently have finished a building project. The new building contains a fellowship hall, gymnasium, Sunday school classes, and a nursery. Pastor Bowker took us out to dinner when we arrived so we were able to fellowship before the service. It was great to hear of Pastor Bowker's vision for the church.

After we were finished singing, Brother Kyle preached a message on "The Day of Salvation". This was the first time a Crown College group has ever been to Berean. We found many people who were already familiar with the college and were interested to hear more about the work of the church. The church family was so friendly and they were an encouragement us.

We would like to thank Pastor Bowker for allowing us to be in his church. We'd also like to thank the Rays, O'Briens, and the Fraziers for opening their homes to us. Please pray for the O'Briens. They are planning on being missionaries to Newfoundland and are hoping to start deputation soon. Also pray for Mrs. Bowker who has a serious case of poison ivy. The Lord has been so good to us, and we are so excited to see what the Lord has in store in the coming weeks.

On Tuesday we were at Central Georgia Jubilee for the second day in a row. This is our last day at the Jubilee but our time here has been so blessed. We had a preaching service this morning with three preachers on the schedule. We sang many songs this morning and were grateful for the opportunity. We were able to spend a lot of time with Sarah Mundy and it was a blessing. We would like to say thank you to Pastor Danny Mundy. He is the host pastor for this Jubilee and is a godly man. Brother Kyle and Sarah were so encouraged to spend time with him. May the Lord continue to bless Pastor Mundy.

After the morning service we had lunch in the fellowship hall. The ladies of Calvary Baptist Church have provided wonderful meals for lunch and dinner all week.

In the evening service we had a lot of singing. Other musical groups attending the meeting were the Enlighteners and the Henson Family. The Enlighteners are two ladies who are blind and travel from church to church singing. The Henson's are a family that travel around the country singing and were a great blessing at this meeting. This family is pictured below.

Monday, May 25th

Monday night we had a real treat in store for us. We were able to have a part in the Central Georgia Jubilee. This meeting was held at Calvary Baptist Church pastored by Danny Mundy. Pastor Mundy is a faithful man of God and we are excited that we had an opportunity to be apart of his meeting. The meeting was well attended. There were over 30 pastors in attendance from three states. By the time service began they had to put out more chairs and there was standing room only. Our trio sang and the Lord used the songs.

It was a great encouragement to see Gary Darnell, a former Crown College graduate and staff member, attending the meeting. He is now pastoring Callie Fuller Baptist Church in Monticello, GA. The Lord is blessing the church and Pastor Darnell is starting to see growth.

Dr. Barry Goodman is the pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Shelby, NC, and he was the preacher for the night. He preached a message entitled, "What to do when the Midnight Comes" we are grateful for men standing with boldness preaching the Bible. We all enjoyed great food and fellowship after the service. We look forward to our meetings tomorrow as the Jubilee continues.

May 24, Sunday Night (Memorial Weekend)

Sunday night we visited Harvest Baptist Church pastored by Dan Reed. We visited a chapel service earlier in the trip and today we were able to attend a church service. The Spirit of the church was a blessing. They were so kind and encouraging. We sang in the service and the Lord used our songs to minister to His children. Dr. Reed preached a message entitled "Our Troubles Work for Us" out of II Corinthians 4:17. God used the message and many responded. Pastor Reed spoke of our Pastor (Pastor Clarence Sexton) telling us what a blessing he had been in the past few years. We are so grateful God is using our pastor to encourage other men of God.

We were very excited to see many Crown Graduates at this Church. Deven and Leah Smith are on staff and recently graduated from Crown College. We also saw Rebecca Reed who was a Crown College graduate this year. We would like to say thank you to the Malone's and Mrs. Stachowicz for allowing us to stay in their home.

Sunday morning we had the opportunity to be in People's Baptist Church in McDonough, Georgia. The Sunday school hour and church service were such a blessing. In Sunday school, we studied about our Baptist history.

Afterwards we sang in the church service, and Dr. McCoy brought a message on "Our Partnership with God". God used the message and it was a pleasure to see someone follow the Lord in believers baptism. We also had the opportunity to talk and visit with Monica McCoy who is a 2007 Crown College graduate and daughter of Dr. McCoy.

We would like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Saunders for their kindness and taking us to dinner. We would also like to thank Dr. and Mrs. McCoy for the nice accommodations and wonderful fellowship after the service, when they took us to lunch. Dr. McCoy always brings a smile to our faces. On Thursday morning we arrived at Liberty Baptist Church in Warner Robins, Georgia. We met Pastor Don Williams, and his twins Josh and Caleb Williams who will be juniors at Crown College this fall. On Thursday we enjoyed two competitive games of bowling, and afterwards had a wonderful meal at the Pastor's house as well as a great time of fellowship.

Friday night we had great meeting. After we sang, Shana gave her testimony. Brother Kyle preached a great message on Matthew 26 about going further in our Christian lives as Christ kept going further in His ministry. The people were such a blessing and encouragement to us. We would like to thank Pastor and Mrs. Williams for their hospitality; especially the good food, and also the ladies in the church who provided a meal for us. We thank God for allowing us to minister to this church, and pray for its greatest days to be ahead.

On Wednesday night we had the privilege of attending Mikado Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia. We were able to sing in the main service and the Lord blessed. Pastor Smith really enjoyed the music and asked us to sing more than we had planned. After singing in the main service we went to a separate building and sang in the teen service. Both were a great blessing and encouragement to us.

Melissa gave her testimony in the teen service, and Brother Kyle preached a great message about peace, Peace with God and the Peace of God. God is using this group to do a work for His honor and glory and we praise Him for it. We would like to thank Pastor Smith for his generosity in taking care of us. We would also like to thank the Pasyks and the Flemings for their hospitality in allowing us to stay in their home. We would like to say another thank you to Brother Koerts for the kindness he showed us while visiting the church. May the Lord continue to bless this church.

Today we had the opportunity of ministering in Old Suwanee Christian school. This school has been such a blessing to Crown College. This year in Crown's graduating class there were five graduates from Old Suwanee Christian School. Bro.Kyle had the opportunity to preach in their school for the last chapel of the school year.

Pastor Campbell and his wife blessed us by taking us out for lunch to Olive Garden. It was a wonderful time of fellowship. We learned that Pastor Campbell has been pastoring the church for five years and he is very excited about what God has in store for the future. Thank you Pastor and Mrs. Campbell for being so kind and taking care of us.

Today we sang at Dr. Dan Reed's chapel, Harvest Baptist School a ministry of Harvest Baptist Church. Bro. Kyle preached an encouraging message out of John 13 showing the children that once they are saved they do not need to be saved again, however, they do need a daily cleansing to stay close to the Lord. We received a warm welcome from all the students and staff. We also enjoyed eating with Dr. Reed. He is such a blessing to just sit and talk with, God has given him so much wisdom.

We would also like to say thank you to the school administrator, Bro. Goins for his kindness. Thank you to Mrs. Arilea and the Allens for opening their homes to us. We enjoyed the fellowship and the wonderful meals they prepared. Thank you Harvest Baptist Church for your kindness. We look forward to being with you again Sunday night.

We had a great Sunday night service at Friendship Baptist Church. The people were such a blessing and encouragement to us. They were so excited about what God was doing in their midst. The Church had planned a fellowhip meeting after the service to get to know our group. We were able to listen to their teenagers sing, which was blessing as well.

We had the privilege to stay at Cedine Camp and meet a missionary family living at the camp. We thank God for all He is doing in this church and pray it will continue for His glory.

We had a great privilege Friday night of attending an outside family picnic at Grace Baptist Church. This is the home church of a recent Crown College Graduate, Kendall Wadley. He is doing great and is planning to return for further study. The food at the picnic was excellent and we enjoyed volleyball and fellowship with the church members.

Once the eating was finished we all moved into the church. We sang and Pastor Downard brought a stirring message on a "Happy Home". We would like to thank Mr. & Mrs. Adams for allowing us to stay with them in their home. We would also like to thank Kendall for taking us out on Saturday while Kyle and Sarah celebrated their first anniversary.

While we were there we got to see and talk to Ted Mock and and we meet missionaries Timothy, his wife Ronke, and his daughter Ojo. They are missionaries to their home country Nigeria.

After the service a group from the Shenandoah Ranch for boys sang for us. We appreciate the hospitality of Pastor and Mrs. Grubbs, the Brown family, and the members of Shenandoah Baptist Church.

Tuesday morning we sang at Calvary Baptist School in Dayton, Tennessee. The Lord truly blessed in the chapel service, and we were able to talk to one of the high school students who was very interested in knowing more information about the college.

In the afternoon we walked around the Historic Downtown Dayton. We visited the courthouse and we were able to sing for a lady who worked in a dress shop.

That evening we were able to participate in a ladies Bible study at the church. The Lord used it in a great way to speak to our hearts, and we are grateful for it. We would like to thank Pastor Sayre, his wife, and the Stuard family for their hospitality. We're so thankful for this opportunity to minister for the Lord, and excited for what He has in store for us this summer.
